Go with the higher commissions. even if the conversion rates are lesser you will still make more (heck of a lot more). Folks this tip is the one that bought me from the brink of failure, so try it.

Kaching Tip #2: Don’t Feel Shy Making Irresistible Offers
Honestly, don’t forget that you’re marketing. Offer something, anything. Make people feel that you are giving them much more than what they are paying for. That’s the feeling you want  to go for. Offer them free shipping or cash rebates or some bonuses; be creative and think about what you’d like. The advantages of this strategy are many fold. Firstly, this way you can tackle your competition head on (truth be told where there is money there’s competition). Secondly,once someone buys from you that means they “know”, “like” and “trust” you which means that they will be happy to purchase from you again in the future. Also, one major positive with this strategy is that you get better conversion rates and a significantly lower refund rate provided your extras offer real value.

Kaching Tip #3: Make Sure The Affiliate Program Captures Leads
How many people perish trying to earn money online because they put all their efforts into promoting an offer that doesn’t capture leads. A very tiny amount of people will actually buy upon their first visit (THIS IS A COLD HARD FACT, ACCEPT IT). To make a meaningful income, capturing the lead is a MUST so that there is scope for more interaction with the lead. I sort of referred to lifetime commissions in the previous strategy but expand that further by including products that offer residual commissions. Residual commissions are those commission which you earn on a recurring (maybe monthly or quaterly etc) basis. With products that offer residual commissions you do the work once and benefit many time over. What more do I say but that residual income is definitely one of the most powerful ways to grow your wealth.

Kaching Tip #5: Track EVERYTHING
Marketing without tracking is just plain silly. Through tracking you discover what works and then you do more of it and you discover what doesn’t work and you avoid it. The data you get from tracking helps you tweak and fine tune your marketing system and a lot of times a simple tweak can yield very dramatic results.
